As I reflect on this month’s update, I am excited to share the remarkable transformation of QCi’s website over the past six months. To say that it has been completely overhauled would be an understatement. Today, I am proud to say that our website is an accurate representation of who we are as a company, showcasing not only our core products and applications development, but also providing a comprehensive look at the core technologies behind QCi’s photonic systems. In short, it encapsulates our mission: Putting photons to work.

The catalyst for this website transformation was our focused preparation to launch our new flagship product, Dirac-3, in March 2024. From the outset, the team adopted a “start with the end in mind” approach, and quickly recognized that the value proposition of Dirac-3, along with the underlying technology differentiators built into the product, reflected a broad representation of QCi’s core competencies across our suite of products and applications. Key competitive advantages of the QCi technology advantages such as:

  • Room temperature operation

  • Scalable, high-dimensional computing capabilities

  • Native binary, integer, and mixed integer problem solving

  • Unsurpassed size, weight, power consumption, and cost

Although these features of Dirac-3 were originally designed with intent and had often been part of the QCi lexicon, it was in this moment that we saw a terrific opportunity to tell the entire QCi story and mission in a new way. We recognized that the foundation for all our technology lies in a simple truth: We leverage the nonlinear optical properties of a transition metal ferroelectric semiconductor – thin film lithium niobate (TFLN) – and design our nanophotonic systems using nonlinear quantum optics. This is the essence of what we mean when we state, Putting photons to work.

That was it! From that moment on, the website transformation gained momentum, and more importantly, every member of our team was galvanized around this basic recognition of what we truly do. This new understanding has had far-reaching effects well beyond the successful launch of Dirac-3. It has become the driving force for all QCi’s products and advanced research efforts – including proposal writing, reservoir computing, and the applications development work in remote sensing.

In addition to the technology-focused updates across our website, we have made significant enhancements to our Investor Relations page. This refreshed section now offers streamlined access to our latest financial results, recent strategic updates, and other essential investor resources. These changes reflect our ongoing commitment to transparency, proactive communication, and delivering value to our shareholders. We recognize the importance of keeping our investor community well-informed and engaged, and our updated website serves as an important platform to achieve this goal.

While it took time to focus and communicate our mission, aligning around our powerful core technology is now engrained in QCi’s culture and will be a key driver of our continued growth as a company. I want to personally thank the entire QCi team for their tireless efforts and commitment to this mission, and I would like to give special recognition to QCi Creative Director and Product Manager, Russell Huffman, for his leadership in driving this initiative forward with the team.

As always, I am grateful to everyone at QCi for their ongoing efforts and dedication to supporting the growth of our exciting company. I encourage you to explore our new website and we welcome your feedback: https://quantumcomputinginc.com/.
