End of Year Message and the Look ahead
Welcome to everyone in 2025!
It is going to be an exciting year in QCi. Our team is poised and focused on executing the business and to position our Company as a significant market leader in the nano photonics and quantum computing industry. We really began to hit our stride in the third quarter of 2024, a seemingly long six months since the leadership transition in February of 2024. There were many significant accomplishments in restructuring and reshaping the business during the early quarters that can go largely unrecognized and I want to take a moment to call them out.
March 2024 – QCi launched the Dirac-3 Entropy Quantum Computer for complex optimization. We took a bold step in the design and created an “accessible and affordable” machine and immediately embarked on a marketing campaign with Key stakeholders in the commercial and government sectors to demonstrate the Dirac-3 capabilities. This work continues today from a solid baseline of work by the team.
The TFLN foundry project in Tempe AZ, went into high gear. All of the capital equipment purchases were made for the design and manufacture of nano photonic chips. This project is now in the final stages and commissioning will be completed in Q1 of this year
Put QCi into a strong position with investment capital. There were many elements key to this achievement including; obtaining a new Corporate Audit firm; restructured our Government Relations and investor relations team; retired ALL debt instruments previously held by the Company; and obtained quality investment capital to support the longer view and strategy for QCi.
These are just a few of the many important foundational accomplishments of the QCi business and we are now well positioned to drive our strategy with confidence and focus into the New Year, with many exciting opportunities ahead. I want to personally thank everyone in the QCi for their tireless efforts and support. Small, technology-driven startups are exciting; but require confidence, vigilance and focus on the mission and the new QCi team has been galvanized in 2024 and now ready to drive the next stage of growth. I also want to thank our investors. Without their support, we could not achieve our goals. We began a new, more transparent communication rhythm with the public in 2024. We conducted technical Webinars, presented at conferences and help our first ever shareholder call at the end of Q3. We are committed to continuing this rhythm and engaging as appropriate with our investor community and the market.
As we enter 2025, QCi is well-positioned to leverage the momentum from last year and “put photons to work” to drive important commercial and government product sales for both quantum machines and nano photonic chips.
